Esteban is Sr. Director of R&D at Twist Bioscience, focusing on product development for the synthetic biology and genomics fields. He has held various positions at Twist spanning molecular biology, bioinformatics, and data science. His career has focused on combining wet- and dry-lab science, with an emphasis on NGS technologies and DNA and RNA biology. Prior to Twist, Esteban was Head of Data at Upside Foods. He holds a Ph.D. in developmental biology from Stanford University.

Ray Moran is an experienced Leader in Bioinformatics, Data Science and Pre-sales engineering. He enjoys working leading a team in a commercial setting alongside customers to identify pain points and solve them using practical but efficient solutions in the bioinformatics space. Leveraging experience from an accredited Laboratory environment to early stage startup, the array of experiences allows him to have a unique understanding of a broad range of use cases.
