Kevin R. Haas, Chief Technology Officer, joined Myriad Genetics in May 2013. Today he is responsible for building Myriad's precision medicine platform to improve the patient/provider experience through digital engagement, harnessing genetic data, and powering breakthrough products to serve millions of customers. Dr. Haas received a B.S. from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of California-Berkeley, where he worked on molecular simulation and machine learning to study protein dynamics from single molecule fluoresce. He has co-authored 16 peer reviewed publications and ten patent applications.
Chief Medical Officer, Myriad Genetics
Dr. Thomas (T.J.) Slavin is Chief Medical Officer of Myriad Genetics and was formerly Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs for Oncology at Myriad. He is a physician-scientist, triple-board-certified in clinical genetics, molecular diagnostics and pediatrics. Focused on expanding genetics education for cancer care providers, Dr. Slavin has helped shape both ASCO University as well as City of Hope’s hereditary genomics training program. He is a well-respected researcher in the field of medical genetics, publishing over 75 journal articles collectively evaluating genomic data from over 500,000 patients, multiple book chapters, and providing numerous presentations at national and international medical meetings.
Chief Scientific Officer, Myriad Genetics
Dale Muzzey is chief scientific officer of Myriad Genetics. Previously, he was senior vice president of R&D. Dr. Muzzey received a B.A. in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Harvard University. His thesis research applied signal-processing techniques to cellular signal-transduction cascades to better understand how response dynamics revealed insight into network architecture.
